:o

First off, i dont remember any other remixes of this track, so i guess your a first.

Your bass was WAAAAAAAY too reverberated, and the drums too for that matter and they blead over. You got the melody right, but i'm not sure about the first chord. You shouldnt have done that fade out at the end as well, you only normally fade out if your finishing on a loop, but you had a proper ending cadance there and you ruined it by fading. I think you should of kept the melody pattern at the start all the way through with the other melody accompanying it, it would of made it a bit thicker. Anyway, fix up the reverb and you've got yourself a winner.

tq for comment & critics
i will do better next time :)

Sounds like the noise my computer makes when it goes wrong...

plutonicfluf responds:

lol yeah I'm just making these songs as jokes... hahaha THEY'RE AWESOME!!! lol

Yay.

It sounds horrendously fruitylooped to me. There isnt very strong definition between the instruments, but that can be a good thing.

The tr808 drum kit really dosnt fit it, its too weedy for the track, try somthing with a bit more power behind it. What i like about this track is its really thick, it has a lot of sounds behind it that make up the music.

aloneinthedark1 responds:

hmm. thanks alot for the review, but i wanted the drum to kinda blend in a bit to make it sorta like one sound all jumbled into music, i chose all the kits that are reccomened by loops help to blend togather

Sounds awfully... adobed.

You need a stedier drum rhythm and that bass drum has a terrible reverb.

Also, ORCHESTRA HIT = TEH SUX.

Dont use orchestra hit. ever. its so cliché, its the definition of cheese. AND GET A MELODY. and a chord progression. and a bass line. Then it could be good.

:| woo!

Apart from the fact its the definition of cliché, it sounded very dj birdy. I personaly think it would sound better if you reorded the melody to rematch the origional more. When you remix a popular song, you cant change the melody too much or it ruins the nostaligisitiy(sp?). I loved the broken synth though, and the scratching was pretty awesome.

All it needs now is some high piched voice going 'woo!' every two bars.

PERVOK responds:

if i didnt change the melody it would sound very... used over and over again.
it didnt take the feel away from the real song.
i only added some melodic notes to make it a little more insteresting.

lol at high pitched 'woo' lmao that would be funny

thanks for the review!

Well-fucking-done.

Ok, to be honest, it REALLY needs backing, nice bass and a jazzy drum riff, but the playing was great, you put a really nice swing to the melody, and it must have been hard to keep it in time like that. Get a band together and re-do it with backing.

Congratulations on being one of the very few submitters who manages to record music the way its ment to be recorded.

Hmmmnn

Suffice to say i've never heard a worms theme remix before.

It needs a drum beat. Badly. What you have there barely qualifys as a riff.

Oh and put that piano out of its misery, its WAY too high pitched. Guitars quite nice though. Might try a worms theme remix myself.

JP3000 responds:

Ok I think I got it: More drums, less piano. Hey, wait a sec... I like the piano!! :P

OOOOooo. As a fellow zelda remixer, i feel abliged to review.

First off, put the bass up an octave, its too low to get a true audiable pitch. Next off, when the drums kick in, it sounds like its just repeating a fill, it needs a more steady rhythm. Make strings louder too, because they're carrying the melody, and they're being drowned out at current. I liked your synth rhythm riff, it really suited, and this track has real structure behind it. Well done.

:O

First off, it had the right feel to it, very oriental. The flute was way overpowered by the other instruments, which spoiled the melody. The drum rhythm was perfect, it had the oriental upbeat, which was good for the track.

Many a time i've seen tracks like these with rock drum riffs.

Lova-Gurl responds:

ok i'll work on it summore thanks for the review

Ooo.

Ok, the first strings part was SEVERLY clipped. Turn the volume down on them, its distorting the sound. The randomness was good, sort of pulsey music as opposed to techno, and i loved your bass.

shadow-dragon350 responds:

thx for the reveiw your the first person to do that. i wish i got ratings like this on my flash work

I maek musics.
