Yaay!

My head inadvertantly bobbed to this track, though I feel you could have looped it better instead of just fading it together

PERVOK responds:

but im a lazy bastard, so i didnt wnana put too much effort into it.

Thanks for the review, Khus!

Good...

Tis a good cover. Very good BUT it CLIPS horribly. I mean seriously, it dosn't even compress, it just CLIPS.

Turn the master output down, you're way above maximum volume with those drums hit, which REALLY pulls the mark down.

Raccoon-Sam responds:

I can't see what you mean..
Sorry.

Yay!

I havnt heard this one remixed properly yet, and this was a pleasent suprise. It wasnt too bouncy, like many other covers of it are, or too staccato and it had a great feeling to it.

One thing I noticed, was the alto strings on the first part missed a note out of there at the end.

Yours went C# B Bb B Bb B G F# and missed the Ab on the first time round, but not the second, sounded a bit odd considering it was carried with the Ab the rest of the way through.

The other instruements sound great, and are introduced excelently. One problem I did have was either the tuba, or the trobones seemed to sound very parpy after the xylophone. It sounds like it should be taken up an octave to me. Also, turn the volume on that xylophone up. At that point in the song, it holds the melody, but it was being drowned out by the other instruments.

Excelent orchestration though, well done.

XGM-Zeth responds:

Thanks; Constructive Critism is great to have laying around.
As for the string thing; I know.
My brother commented that as well.
And as for the tuba; I turned the velocity a bit too high at the end; making it too dominant; and it should have been up in a higher octave.

the xylophone isnt that dominant at the real thing either; I checked.
But it could have given a touch to the song if i did turn up the volume.

Woah.

Weirdly artistic, as far as contemporary music goes. All you really needed to do was make up some bullshit reason why you composed it, i.e. to express a certain part of your emotions...

Hmn.

The Danish equivelent to hardcore dance.

:o

This scores a 'FUCKING INSANE' on the scale of 'One to SICK'.

Ooo

Interesting little mix you've got here. I wouldnt really call it techno as such, more glitch/pulse hybrid. Very fun to listen to as well. I love the way the vox at the start pitch bends up but still stays in time its a nice twist. It sounds like it needs a bigger bass element, mind.

SolusLunes responds:

Well, we don't have a glitch section, so I'd love to put it there, but I had to put it here. I'm glad you like the voice- I hated it just before I submitted it and then I said, "To hell with it. Let's put it on," and left the voice there.

Abusive.

It is against the audio portal rules to submit music made from loops of copyrighted songs without explitic permission from the author of the song.

Yay!

Loving the use off two melodies throughout, and that bass was awesome. It sounded like it needed to be a tiny bit thicker towards the end, but then again it isnt finished, although it should be. Get back to work.

I would say it is a little too short, but again, its not finished, so I can't. Either way, this has enough potential that if you were to finish it, you could eaisly cap 3 minutes and still keep the listner interested, as long as you added enough contrast...

As I said, get back to work.

RAWR!

I was sitting on the BBS, then all of a sudden, my B0unc3 scences started to tingle, meaning but one thing: B0unc3 had indeed submitted another track.

And it was great, ffs.

Beautiful piano melody layered on top of trancy leads and stringy pads. In fact, this music was so great, as soon as I played it, one-hundred random ravers with glowsticks showed up in my room and started dancing eraticaly. This was a very unusual event, that I have never experienced before.

For this reason, I rate this song a five. I was considering knocking a mark off, because the ravers left one hell of a mess on my floor after they had done dancing, and they were using my wardrobe as a make-out room.

I maek musics.
