One of the most solid platformers I've played on NG. The engine was defined and well developed which in turn shoveled awesomeness by the bucketload into the rest of the game. Lots of stages with varied artwork through, bosses and all, it's got all the features that full platformers have!
Some of the highlights I got here was the sort of puzzle game feel it also gave to it, with the switches and keys that were hidden just that little bit off screen that you had to explore the level to find them, then memorise the root back. I also loved that continue system, probably the most evil I've ever seen in a game yet, actually showing your score being deducted :-P
So what else could it need?
It's a long game, A save system wouldn't be a miss. Also I feel this game would work very nicely with an online high score system, there dosn't seem to be a fixed high score you can get, given time bonuses (of course it would probably get hacked to heck and back)
Well bloody done.

"Effort was there.. but it just.. lacked"
The style of animation has potential, its simplistic and clear. There were a few issues with clarity of sound, but I suppose thats why you stuck in subtitles. Also, spellcheck. For a start, its 'Hebrew'. Not a 'U' in sight.
Secondly, excessive racism dosn't automatically make something funny, nor does cliché stereotyping. Work a little bit more on the script, and don't try to be funny simply by picking on ethnic groups, or it turns into 'big mommas house 2', which as we all know, can't be a good thing.

The "Hebru" was Intentional. Thats his name, Man!

Good to see you made good use of those tone sounds I made!
Seeing some of the other reviews, I sort of agree it needs an eaisier way to play. What you could do is open up the sounds in audacity or something and paste them a load of times to make them longer, then for the buttons have it start playing the sound on press and stop on release. This would allow for longer notes to be played.
As for muliple keypresses, I don't think its nessacary, because you can't do that on a real phone anyway.
Author's Response:
Atualy these arn't the tones you made, i found a different way to make them and i used the ones i made myself, but then again, they're the same tone so thats probably why the sound similar. Thanks for the review though and i'm working on making it a bit easier with a few more songs, i've been working on "funky town" and "drink milk love life" and hopefully i can add them today or tommorow.

That's only.. very.. in violation of copyright, and coincidentially very, very illegal.
Author's Response:
Actually... it's very... not in violation because I'm not distributing them. There is no money involved.

Would you mind ever so much crediting the music? After all, it IS my effort that has gone into creating it, and a little credit is not much to ask for.
Author's Response:
I'm so sorry, that totally slipped my mind. Thanks for reminding me. Again, incredibly sorry, that music was great!

I'm a huge fan of this game, and i've closeley followed all the series. Its amazing how much life you can put into a little black and white game just using flash.
I also have you to thank you for my sudden burst of downloads...
<3.

And to think, this whole series wouldn't have happened if I hadn't come across "Super Mario Land Mega Mix" in the audio portal that fateful day. Khuskan, you do not know you much I've appreciated you musical talents throughout this series. I can honestly say, you were my primary motivator in the production stages of all of these SML's. I'd sit back and listen to your tunes and close my eyes. Instantly, I would begin to conjure images and concepts for my SML's, I couldn't wait to publish them with Flash. As I've said before, I am most pleased that you are receiving bursts of traffic to your songs - I'm hoping to at least help make that SML Mega Mix song a platinum album for ya. Just remember, that this series just wouldn't be the same without your music and remixes. Keep makin' 'em!

You've got the skill. The graphics and animation were smooth, stylish and well made the voice acting was superb, apart from santa, who was too quiet to make out, and the use of music was excelent and varied, but it just lacked the comedy. The humor seemed extremely dry to me. It lingedered on that 'logic' gag too long, and that itself was a cliché. It seems that you've suddenly learnt how to use flash from proffesionals, and threw together the quickest storyline you could come up with as an excuse to post.
For example, the whole movie is based on the premise of Ken Kutaragi being killed, but what was the point? His character didnt develop at all, he didnt even have a line and he was on screen for less than a second. The fact you killed of a character which virtualy didnt exist in the first place made it dull, and dosn't leave the viewers to make up their own conclusions, then see if they were right.
Not everyone knows who Ken Kutaragi is, so the development was needed.
Anyway, keep at it, you've got talent there.
Author's Response:
Thanks for actually giving crits. Personally, I find the voice actors to be the single best part of the entire movie.
Now about the dry humour - I like to use it. Just a preference, I think in many situations it fits a story better than soakling, wet humour. (See what I did there? Hahahahahaha....ehhh)
About the Kutaragi thing - I have a feeling you're right. Often when writing, I forget about the fact that people don't have the same frame of reference as I, which leads to allusions that few get. In this case, I assumed that everyone knows Kenny as the wacky party animal that he is - because I read about his escapades every day in various news sources. He was already developed in my head – which lead to him being underdeveloped in the movie.

Congratulations on slightly reskinning one of the example .fla's that came with flash. I'm sure that you will one day learn to make a preloader that works, probably by stealing it off another file.

Well... that freaked me out. It sort of reminded me of the stereotypical one-layer FBF shorts where completely random stuff happens, but this was mostly tweened, reflected good ammounts of flash knowledge and I got a small giggle out of it. It would have been nice to have had it a bit longer, you obviously spent a lot of time on those characters and drawings, and it seems a shame just to have them up for a few seconds.
